THE PROCESS
Whether we are designing a new web site, or just giving
your current site a "face lift", we will
help you through the entire process from start to
finish. From web design and maintenance to hosting
and Internet marketing assistance, we will make sure
you understand and are comfortable with the entire
process.
(1) PROJECT PROFILE
The project profile is developed
during and following the initial meeting. We conduct
the initial project interview via a face-to-face meeting
or via telephone for the non-local clients we serve.
In this meeting we will discuss the overall goals for
the project, the top three primary objectives the project
will directly affect, design preferences, overall site
architecture and navigation, time frame for completion,
and more. We ask the key questions that are vital to
the success of your project and make sure all bases
are covered before moving to the next step.
(2) PLANNING: SCOPE OF WORK, CLIENT
APPROVAL & PROJECT TIME LINE
In this stage of the project,
we will develop a full scope of work and proposal based
on the initial meeting. After making final adjustments,
we will present the total cost based on the scope of
work developed. Upon client approval, a project time
line will be developed and approved.
(3) DESIGN
Following approval of the
proposal and project time line, we will develop one
to three designs that will represent the overall look
and feel of your new web site. This design will be developed
based on your current identity, branding preferences,
current marketing materials, etc. The new look will
be consistent with your overall image to help reinforce
your brand and image. Following design approval, we
will develop a "splash page" or home page
that can be posted immediately while the project moves
into development. This allows you to present your new
look to your audience right away.
(4) DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION
Next, the project is launched
into high-gear. This is the point where all of the magic
happens! Our programmers begin development on all backend
utilities, databases, etc., while our HTML development
team begins work on putting your new look and feel together
with the site content. This is also where we begin to
put together the site tools that will allow you to track
the success of the project after the new site is launched.
(5) TESTING
Upon completion of the project
production, we begin the testing phase. All testing
is based on our internal quality control procedures
or on specific measures agreed to at the time of the
initial client approval.
(6) DELIVERY & LAUNCH
The site complete! Upon final
client approval, we will plan an official site launch
and discuss strategies to announce your new site to
current and prospective clients. These could include
postcard announcements, mass emailing to your mailing
list, etc.
(7) MAINTENANCE & FOLLOW-UP
We launched the site, but
we do not stop there! We will diligently follow-up with
you to track to success of the project, perform general
site maintenance and updates, as well as provide general
advice on any questions you may have.
